The principle of “cultures dialogue” in literary education of bilingual and bicultural students
In the most of Russian Federation national regions one can see the national – Russian bilingualism. The process of widening Russian – national bilingualism will present the possibility for Russian students living in national regions of RF to master the language and the culture of native population of the region.
So in the system of national literary education in the national regions of Russia, the idea of native –Russian and Russian- native bilingualism and biculture is laid.
It is necessary to create the common scientific system of studying literary works combining the common and native features of the both literatures.
The modern tendency of development of national regions shows the increase of national consciousness , striving for mastering of native language and regeneration of national traditions. The process is natural and regular. However, it is important to avoid the nihilistic attitude to Russian language and culture.
In correct decision of this problem the principle of “cultures dialogue” that was proposed by M.M. Bahtin, the great philosopher and literary critic , must be extremely useful.
The cultures dialogue principle doesn’t evaluate the importance of both cultures, but determinates the originality of each national culture by their comparison. It suggests the view on the native literature from the outside, and allows to look at the not native literature as the other, but not alien. So , the look on the native literature from outside and the attitude to not native literature as to the other, but not alien , are two conditions of the system of the literary education for speaking another language population.
Acquaintance with the culture not similar to native, at first might be accepted as alien culture. Different versions may be possible in this situation.
First version – when students recognize something familiar in not native culture. This version demands in detail culture knowledge commentary.
Second version – when the alien culture is not accepted as native, contradict to national traditions. It is important that the facts of alien culture accept as the other culture, but not hostile culture.
Third version – when some individual facts of “ alien” culture may become intimate.
Thus the problem of contact (repelling and attraction) of the both different national worlds is not simple and needs the accurate decision.
